Summit Windows have recently celebrated our 50th Birthday.
With just three generations of one family spanning this timeframe, we can assure you of a solid foundation of knowledge, and customer service that has been passed from father to son, and from our family to yours. Throughout this long history Summit has evolved with the industry, and is consistently striving to manufacture cutting edge products that make striking statements in past, present and future eras.
However, we’re not only focused on the view. What’s equally important to us is that our products withstand the test of time, even in such a unique climate as ours here in Tasmania. All our windows and doors are manufactured to suit your individual location and you can trust they will keep you warm in Winter and cool in Summer.
We can proudly say our products are WERS Rated, and BAL Rating is applied where specified.

Circa 1960s
The KH Arnott & Sons Building shared by the Aluminium and Carpentry businesses.
1968
Quote for a Mr Penney. Six items for a total of $459.80 to be paid off $80 per month
Aluminium windows fitted into the extension of this home. Note the shutters were replicated from the lower level to marry the new with the existing.
1981
Aluminium Windows outgrows the shared space so Geoff Arnott writes to the Town Clerk requesting permission for a new build.
Permission granted and published in the notices section of The Advocate
Construction begins.
The whole family was involved from groundworks to fitout. Here a 6 year old Ben is helping the bricklayer.
